Home of apx 2203 midis! (at last count/update, and more to come!)
Disclaimer: I take no responsibility for the creation of these midis, as they were made by people far more intelligent and cooler than I. My purpose is simply to display some of them for people to view and enjoy. So there.
Welcome to the wonderful world of midis! Here you can find many videogame midis from various games, and even some anime ones if you look hard enough. In case you didn't know already, midis are small and (in most cases) a compact representative of the original tune, the only downside being the fact that they are simply instrumental. I will expand this page as long as 2 conditions are met: a) I still have space left (which I have an unknown amount left) and b) I have midis to put up. Complaints, comments, midi requests, and anything else you want to say go to Me, where I will hear what you have to say. Until then, enjoy the midis!
Need/Want to talk to me? My ICQ number is 19107048 and here is my Icq status:
= NEW. Why Mog? Because he is kewl! Hopefully this will allow you to discover what I added, instead of guessing or trying to go from memory :)-
--picks a random midi from all my midis, but if you want another FULLY random midi, you must click on the correct spot on the page or go back to random.html. Reload will not give you a fully random midi. Thank you.
Midi of the Undeterminate Time Period--Many places promise something of the week, month, etc. and don't deliver. Since my updates are random anyway, I don't promise that, but I still want to spotlight some midis, thus MOTUTP. These are midis I think you would like, because i sure do!
Message Board--A message board for those of you who want to talk about anything you want to talk about... Any input is appreciated on issues that I or anyone else bring up. Also, it would be nice if people commented on issues that I put on this page because commonly I appreciate input from people who view my page on what features they like, would want, or think should be changed. This would help me edit my page in ways I couldn't come up with myself :)
Midi Trivia--A page designed to see if you can identify the game the midi came from.
What's New--On midi updates, this will list what new categories were created and which categories got more midis.
Mp3 page--A page that links to my FTP server with many videogame and other types of mp3s!
Midi FTP server--This is an FTP server w/ access to my midis instead of my mp3s, in case you want to d/l a bunch at a time, but you have to deal w/ my strange organization first :)
Midi FTP server mirror--If the above midi server is down, try this one (it should be up more) donated by a good friend of mine
Konti's Midis AOL Mirror--Same site, different location
Links page--you knew i had to get one sometime!
Pointless Video Game Trivia--The page I created for no real reason. If you think you know a lot about videogames, you are probably right. But try it anyway. :)
Kontiland--My original Home page. Not for the faint of heart!
Quotes page--A page rescued from my home page (which is about the only thing that made sense there besides the links). If you think you have a quote that would fit right in, feel free to email me with suggestions!
Update--3/12/99 This isn't a substance update (unless you count me removing the "radio" link due to shoutcast not working for me anymore. Anyway, I wanted to update before I leave for spring break today until March 21, but due to circumstances, its not going to happen. Instead, I will update the html when I return from my nice restful period at home. Also, since I won't be here over the week, the FTP servers will also be down then, so don't try emailing me about it (like anyone would anyway :() Until then, enjoy enjoyment!
